I was wondering if there is any interest in finding the inner workings of the Network Deployment of Revit 9 (well they did not change it from 8.1) which I hate since it still does not install the content locally if you use Network Deployment. I have work arounds and stuff by creating a transform and updating the generated VBS file and our handy dandy Batch file called by it.
Ofcourse my methods are not factory approved. but they work. I also modify the Revit.ini file after install as there is no way to set certain parameters in it without overriting, I just use commandline utils to achieve that.
ofcourse there are bunch other ways to accomplish this, I just let the ContentLoader.exe do its job, rather than XCOPY.
