View Full Version : New to Revit, Need help turning back on dwg link

i don't know if this is the right site for posting questions, but i'm pretty new to this. i imported a cad drawing into revit, and i turned it off with VH, but i don't know how to turn it back on. please help.

VH? Are you sure you don't mean VG? Type in VG, click on Imported Catagories.

Under the view tab, click Visibility Graphics, Click imported categories, select your category

i type in VH to hide the cad background, and now i don't know how to turn it back on.

Do what we both told you and it will be turned on. Or I should say do what either one of us told you

You still need to type in VG to bring up the View Graphics box. From there you need to find the catagory that you turned off and turn it back on. If it is an imported file it will be under Imported Catagories.

You may also check File -> manage links (if you in fact linked the cad file) to make sure it is still loaded in the revit project.
