Symbols Schedules??

Can they be created using the revit symbols? We need to make an electrical symbols schedule showing receptacles, panels, etc using the actual symbols that are shown on the plan. Is there a way to do this without having to draft them all in a drafting view?

Is it schedule or legend?
There are legend type of views (look in Help for Legends) (see pict.).
