dimension problem

hi guys.. i want to put a dimensions that reads "pit depth to elevator manufacturers specs" and have no numerical dimension but i can only figure out how to add a prefix and suffix to the value, is there a way to override this number?

I'm no revit expert, but perhaps a white filled region to hide the number ?

Messy I know, but one way of doing it.

We usually use opaque text over dims.and you may want to change the dim text to something really, really small for this just in case

thanks i made the txt 1/256th and it works, its kinda sloppy but it will work for this i guess

We just put opaque text over dimensions to override as well, but watch out if you export to cad - you may need to clean that part up a bit.
