Simple spacing of objects / lines / etc.

I am trying to figure out a simple way to space objects in a drawing.

Example; Drawing solid extrusions as deck posts. Then would like to divide and space equally alone layout.

Revit does not contain something similar to AutoCAD like divide??

I realize one can achieve this with walls/ doors/ windows/ etc. via the equal command.

Any easy way to do this. It seems so simple yet is time consuming.

Use the equal dimension on the deck posts. or maybe the deck posts should be a railing?

If you use ARRAY with the LAST option you can specify how many objects should "fit" between the first and last point which is essentially like the divide command assuming you know how long the overall length should be. Like Scott said, in the post example you might want a railing...
