irregular shaped callout?

Is there any way to create a irregular shaped callout, similar to a polygonal viewport in autocadd?

1. make several callouts and paste them together on the same sheet. Hide the symbols and draft the call out symbol

2. make one big call out - hide the sysmbol and then mask off the area you don't want on the sheet with a white fill.

Definite wishlist item--should be able to go into "sketch mode" to place callouts. will post if not already there...
