I'm in the process of creating a central location on our new server of the material library, Revit content library, our own content library, templates etc. is there anything specific that needs to be copied along to the server with these that might cause a problem if I don't.

Regards, Paul.

Paul,
What I have found to work really good is to make sure you have a server copy of your rendering materials so it gets backed up but put a copy of the rendering materials on your local computers so they render faster and exporting a project seems to go faster also. Hope that helps.

Rodney, thanks for the reply, much appreciated. Just one question though, do you keep the path of each computer directed to the rendering materials located on each machine and as you said the server copy just gets updated.

Regards, Paul.

Yes I keep the path set to the local machine for rendering materials and then anytime I update or get new materials I just copy it out to the local machines.
