Stairs from levels below ...

I would appreciate any info on hiding the stairs from levels below.
I can't have the dashed lines (which I should have) because in floor plans I can see the stairs coming up. I guess you all know what I mean. What are you doing about that?
If I adjust the view depth and the bottom level, I loose some info (like 2d dwg imports and detail lines.)

So far fill regions and detail lines - messy.

I think Revit is correct showing the stairs from below, the only thing is that it is very confusing in floor plans. So maybe it will stay like this, filled regions and det. lines
