I'm back using Autocad (2006) after 3 years of Micstation (hated it). I've been searching here for hours but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I have found a lot of other useful info, so it's been quality time.

I'm trying to get a schedule to show door info from a dymanic block AND door number from a tag block. Can this be done with 2006?

I saw it done several years ago but that was with ADT and as I recall it was all custom tags/doors and schedule made at the place I worked.

Can someone tell if it is possible to do this in autocad 2006 and point me to a good "how -to" or does this only work in ADT?

Thanks,
MM

You could try the Attribute Extraction (EATTEXT). I don't use it, but it may help you. ADT could automate most of that for you, but you should still be able to get what you are looking for.

You could also use FIELDS in a TABLE to link to objects.
