Snaps to detail components???

Am I missing something??? I can't seem to snap to an endpoint of a line that is part of a detail component. Is there a setting for this, or does the detail component family need something extra for this?

I just discovered this as well. I cannot snap to the lines of a Filled Region in a Detail Component? Other lines snap fine. Has anybody found an explanation?
