In our office, we are transitioning from DataCAD to ADT 2006. With DataCAD, we draw our 'panels/product' on separate layers. (Each panel has its own layer). We have written a macro that lets use browse/scroll through these layers sequentially (NEXT / PREVIOUS) with just a click of a toolbar button.
We would like to use this same technique in ADT, but the only option I see so far is to turn layers on and off with the 'lightbulb'.
This is not a very efficient way of managing layers. I have looked into Layer Walk, Layer Keys, and other options, but none of these suit our needs.

The Layer Previous toolbar button works somewhat well if you actually click through ALL the layers first, but again this is time consuming. And, there is no Layer Next button.

We would really like to be able to scroll back and forth though our layers as they appear in the manager (A01, A02, A03, A04, etc.) sequentially.

Does anyone have a suggestion? Are we missing a toolbar or command?
Does anyone know of a .lsp or macro that can achieve this?
Would anyone be interested in creating a LSP or Macro to achieve this?(We can pay you)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You can isolate layers, and unisolate layer (assuming that you have express tools). You can also, hide or isolate selected objects. You can develop layer states, that would automatically freeze/thaw/restore layers.

Also if you have express tools, you can use the layerwalk feature which will let you quickly isolate layers on a list.
