I believe the build was created after addressing Link file issues. Download it HERE. (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=5488990)

A new build of Revit Building 9.0 and Revit Building Series 9.0 has been posted to the Autodesk Revit web site at www.autodesk.com/revitbuilding (http://www.autodesk.com/revitbuilding).

Build 20060426_2300

(April 26, 2006 at 11:00pm - for those that didn't know what the build numbers stand for)

This build corrects an issue with licensing in the Series version, and fixes a problem with linked files causing slowness .

Happy Downloading! (I downloaded mine before this post :-) )

Woohoo! hopefully my Network Licensing issue will go away, download in progress. I was just battling this problem yesterday with techs from the Subscription Support Team. Nice turn-around time.

If you are having problems downloading the new build, wait a while and try again. Maybe download during a non-peak time.

From what I hear, there was an overwhelming response to this download, and the servers couldn't handle the rush. Reportedly there was a very significant number of "hits" on the download site...very encouraging as far as use of Revit is concerned!

I also had the can't access error but "saved target" and it worked fine, sort of. Refused to download a libray but tried it again and it worked. I'm sure that the server was overloaded.

I hope they plan on an auto updater for Revit. Most of the computers at my firm are locked down from the it. you have to go through the ringer to get anything updated. We unlocked the registry for Autocad to update itself but for Revit it is a full install.

As for Revit getting on the issue and fixing it so quick great job guys!!!

I got an email from autodesk subscription telling me what the problems were and that the new build had fixed them and I could download it now......

Can this new build be installed over the top of the original release of Revit 9 ? or do I have to unisnstall the old one first? How do I prevent the download of content libraries but still get the patched files?
Thanks

When you start the .exe file, it will search for other installed versions and auto select the existing 9 build, giving you the choice to also uninstall earlier releases.

When you work through the 9.0 new build selection dialogue, you will have the opportunity to skip content installation.

Cheers.
