Grid lines - I have a type that refer to the steel, another type that refer to the external walls - and yet another type to set the oof out - how can I control the visibility quickly, can I use scope boxes somehow? I still seem to see ALL the gridlines, even though I have tied them to different scope boxes???
Scope boxes... another view related tool... there are so many in Revit...
I did it this way:
1. I created a couple scope boxes and then assigned some grid lines to one of them and other grids to another.
2. then I applied an override to the view where I wanted to see only elements referring to scope box 1 and made scope box 2 invisible (from the scope box properties "views visible" setting)
3. voilĂ : only the grids associated with scope box 1 remain visible(including the grid lines)
Don't know if it's quick or not, the way I did it previously (before learning scope boxes) was to assign the grid groups to different worksets and control thier visibility that way....
