Hi,

I am currently struggling with two similar problems on one of my projects. I have a wall that ends at an angle. The one indicated in the first picture (wall prob 1.jpg) is placed on a slab and is 230 wide. The floor slab ends at an angle of 45 degrees. How would I end the wall with a 45 degree end.

The second graphic (wall prob 2.jpg) indicates a wall with korbel on both sides used as a curved ringbeam. It ends against a handrail. How would I cut the beam/wall to have its end parallel to the handrail without changing the position or curviture of the beam?

Thank you for your help.

Regards

Peter

Problem one:

create an in-place family void, with a 45 degree angle on one end, overlapping the wall where you want the angle. While in the family editor after creating the void, use the cut geometry tool, pick the wall, then the void to cut the piece off of your wall.

Not sure about problem 2.

One method:

Create a thin wall, say 1/4", and draw it at the 45° angle. Join the other wall to it, & trim it so it just covers the edge.

On the curved wall, do the same.
