Revit and AutoCAD dynamic Blocks

I have a client that is using dynamic blocks with different views in Autocad 2007. When i create a link to the drawings all I get are a bunch of lines. Not the block view that he is showing in AutoCAD. We have even tried exploding them hoping that would fix them.

We got the same thing from Mechanical Desktops Importing of the duct work and vav boxes. the dynamic vav boxes came is as junk
