I'm trying to mirror a door about the midpoint of a room. When I try to pick the midpoint of the wall opposite the door (either creating a reference line or the mirror axis), my midpoint snap is not to the wall segment of that room it's to the midpoint of the wall several rooms away. How can I -- if I can -- get the snap to find the room wall midpoint?

My running snaps include midpoint and typing SM doesn't make a difference. It still finds the midpoint of the total wall (the whole exterior wall), not just the room wall segment.

Wow, I used to have this problem, and I just discovered that has been fixed in R9, now you can snap from the mid point of the whole wall or the mid point of a segment of that wall on either side of the wall where it has been segmented.
Great job, Revit guys!
