C3D and LDT

Our survey department uses LDT, Engineering uses C3D.
I have some issues.

1- how do i manipulate the points they create?
I cant turn the name and number off, or change colors.

2 - The points don't come in as part of a point group unless i export
to xml and then import. to do this i must erase them first so i
don't have duplicates.

3- Is it me are do the two seem like they don't want you to work
back and forth?

It seems silly to me... If you have both the surveyors and engineers in-house, everyone should be on the same page.


Here where i work, we get our data in a .txt file and a .dwg

We use the .txt in our working file and the .dwg from them is used as a quality control that we can look at to verify everything came out ok...
