We are having a problem with publishing from a DWF. When we plot normally from extents we have no problems. When we publish to DWF and then view or plot from the DWF the top or the side of our title block has been cut off. Any suggestions???

Hi

Please note I have *split* your above post from thread "Missing Text in DWF file", into its own thread, and *moved* to this forum ( AutoCAD Plotting (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=34) ).

Why? - Your query is dealing with a completely different issue / problem.

Thanks, Mike

we have this problem with our plt files when the wrong paper size is used, i'd just check to make sure you are using a 36x24 arch expand d, instead of say the 24x36 arch expand d because believe it or not, the paper limits are different and can cause this exact problem, happens all the time.

with pdf... usually there is a scale issue with the pdf or a paper size issue, i don't support or promote dwf but it's possible you're getting the same problems, plotting is plotting no matter what the format.

If using ACAD 2006 or later, try setting PLOTOFFSET system variable to 1. Type it at the command line or change it in Tools, Options, Plotting Tab (set the plot offset relative to the edge of the paper).

I had the same problem and this fixed it magically.

I am having a similar problem, If I "Plot" to dwf it looks fine, If I use "Publish" either single sheet or multi-sheet dwf, it chops off an inch of the right side of drawing.

Any Ideas? Thanks! (acad ver 2007)

Thanks again Mike!
I added a DWF pagesetup to one sheet, publish, import that pagesetup to sheet list, bingo, worked like charm!

Plus, have you tried applying a DWF Page Setup when using the Publish command ?

I had a similar problem when publishing layouts.
Once I changed the pagesetup to something like letter size pdf, mdi (msoffice), or
dwf writer, the problem was fixed.

Not the best solution, however, it worked.

PLOTOFFSET....Woohoo!!!
I had the exact same problem w/ my titleblocks being cut off at the top when printing to dwf from the Publisher. Problem solved w/ this variable set to 1.

Thanks for the solution!!
