Exterior and Interior Window Scheduling

Does anyone have advice on how to schedule interior and exterior windows separately, using different tags? I tried switching the interior windows to the generic model category(so that they could have a different tag from the exterior windows), but when you try to add a new schedule there isn't an option for scheduling generic models. Any suggestions?

Add an shared parameter to each window type, then use that shared parameter to filter your schedule

Thanks. The filter should work well on separating the two out in the schedules. Is there any way to use a shared parameter to assign different tags to the different types of windows?

Yes, edit your tag family to include the shared parameter.
