I have done a new floor plan in Revit. When I added the doors, I did not do them from left to right, in "proper order".
Is there a way to ask Revit to renumber the doors from left to right, top to bottom so they read better on the plan?
Thanks.

Right click the door - Properties
Change the 'Mark' Field to your desired number
Or you can directly enter the number into the door tag.

I see that, but that is just for re-numbering individual doors.
I would like the program to re-number all the doors I have on the drawing automatically to a selected parameter. Like left to right, top to bottom. Or right to left, bottom to top.
I hope that was more clear.

Ah, no I'm afraid you're out of luck :(
You'll have to get clicking!

Thanks Tom.
How about having the doors associated with the rooms.
I.E. Room 100. Doors are numbered 100a, 100b, 100c...

Don't think so - How would the door know which room it belongs to? (assuming that you have a Room for labelling the corridor)

We have gotten into the practice of numbering doors by the room numbers. Yes it's a pain but it's the best way to handle it in case doors change at some point in the project.

Actually entirely possible with the API, except Revit doesn't keep the roomTo/roomFrom details updated. It only gets it right when you place the door for the first time. Any subsequent changes flipping, changing types etc will not be reflected in the roomTo/roomFrom details.
