I'm importing details to RS from our library of Autocad 2006 files. The hatched areas are coming in blank - with the exception of hatch that uses the "solid" pattern, which comes in fine.
I've tried every permutation of visibility settings I can think of to no avail. What do I need to do to get my hatch patterns to show up, either in the DWG file or in Revit S?

Hi Sarah,
We've run into this, too.
Try modifying the hatch pattern in Autocad so that only simple areas are individually hatched. You'll end up with a few more hatch entities to get the job done, but I think Revit will be happier.
I've also found that Autocad 2D solid entities don't play well with Revit. It's a display order thing. Use solid hatches instead...that seems to work.
Hope this helps

Jos,
Thanks. I'll experiment with smaller, more regular areas of hatch. I also discovered that exploding the hatch (which just makes me cringe!) makes it show up in Revit.
