Shared parameters

Can you take existing parameters in say a window family and copy them to a shared parameter some how. What I have are existing window families with set parameters that I want to use on mult. windows.

Open a family in the family editor. In the family types dialog select any family parameter other than ones the default set. The Modify button becomes available. Pressing this allows you to transfer the existing family parameter to a shared parameter. For all types, values associated with the existing parameter will be retained and assigned to the shared parameter. The existing family parameter will be deleted. Save the family and reload into your project.
