Interior Design - Wall Paint Indicators?

Our interiors department uses lines to indicate the extent of paint finishes on their interiors plan. I've been trying to figure out a way to create something that will allow them to easily add them to revit walls. Right now I cant think of anything and am starting to believe that they will just need to draw them in using detail lines on their plans. Any ideas? This is what it looks like:

What about making a generic wall based family with a controllable length parameter. Just use symbolic lines in the plan view of the family. If you want to get fancy, you could create an angular parameter at each end to accommodate non-90 wall intersections. Also, you could add a text parameter for P1, P2, etc.
