Can anyone tell me why this pat file won't work for a model fill pattern? I found a cool (possibly outdated, please let me know if anyone knows of a better way to make custom pat files) called AHatch Pro
http://www.fell-kernbach.de/index.html?/products/ahatch/index-en.html
I'd buy it ($50) but i can't get the patterns to work in revit. They work great in Acad, though.
Thanks,
JC

You must modify the pat file to tell Revit that you want the hatch to act as a model pattern. Check out this thread. Make sure the second line is ;%TYPE=MODEL (all caps are required)

ERRG! the problem was that the words TYPE and MODEL must be capitalized. silly revit ;) does anyone know where I can get this scalloped look pat file for free (see attatched) . I really don't want to plunk out $50 for this program, and the hatch says DEMO all over it.
