It appears that Revit doesn't distinguish between Interior and Exterior elevation tags under Visibility/Graphics. We would like to be able to turn off all the interior tags and leave the exterior tags visible. I guess the only way to do this is to Hide Annotation in View, one tag at a time.

Which raises the question, why can't we select multiple annotation objects in a view and then right to click to Hide Seleted Annotation Objects In View? Why should we have to do this one at a time?

Or use scope boxes?

Saw a suggestion in an earlier post - workaround might be to make a tag that is mad of white lines/text, etc. You can then select a bunch of tags, change them to the white ones, and at least at that point they won't plot.

That's a great tip. It could work for various other situations too.

Why not use the filter function in R9 ?

I don't think the Filter function will filter annotation categories, just model categories.
