Problem with different detail levels

The problem is my wall hatch works when the detail level is course but not medium.
that would be fine but the hatch that shows the brick works when the level is medium but not course.

I want both of them on.

I'm hoping its a setting that I don't know about.

am I right?

If you want the pattern to show at medium and fine level:
You have to define a cut pattern in the core material of the wall you want to hatch.

1 Select the wall you want to hatch...
2 Open its properties... Edit/New...
3 Edit Structure... Select a material
4 and make sure the material has a defined cut pattern.

If you want the pattern to show at coarse level:
Just go to the walls properties and change the "Course Scale Fill Pattern"
