Controling "hidden line"?

I must be missing something simple. How does on control the hidden line display of objects selected to be hidden using the new show hidden lines tool? I checked the usual suspects: line styles, object styles, etc. The don't seem to be part of the line category.

Under object styles (and Visibility/Graphics) every Model Object has a Hidden Lines subcategory.
