Inconsistant surface patterns

I cannot fathom why I am getting surface pattern on some roofs but not on others in the same views (elevation and plan). I have checked and doubled checked the properties of the roofs and view properties.

Any help will be gratefully received.

Try posting just the roof so people can look at it. You might get more responses that way.

Make sure you are using a model pattern and not a drafting pattern on your roof. Just a guess.

Not it, I'm afraid Jo. All model patterns. I can add filled regions but not Revit.
