When features are updated in a new version, such as the new Revit 9 keynoting, an easy or automatic way to convert in-progress projects is imperative.
We've got dozens of existing keynotes in a project, and the old Revit 8.1 keynoting is gone so we have to tediously redo them. I can't find any way to even semi-automate this, so we'll have to retype them or cut and paste one description at a time into a new keynote file, then delete and replace each keynote.
The time this takes is lost profit. I don't want to even repeat the project managers reaction, but it was pretty bad, and this doesn't reflect well on our trial project.
I certainly hope future upgrades are implimented in a less painful manner.
