How can I create these 2 letters commands like "mv" for move or 'ze" for zoom extents?
I know about keyboardshortcuts text file but the commands I want to use are under the submenu of "Host sweep" of the pulldown menu "Modeling"
I want to make "wr" for wall reveal, "ws" for wall sweep, "se" for slab edge etc but it doesn't work, I mean when I type "se" nothing happens.
Is it because it can't be done or did I make a mistake by replacing the default txt file with my old 8.1 after upgrade?

This is a section of the KeyboardShortcuts.txt file which will do as you require:

"WS" menu:"Modelling-Host Sweep-Wall Sweep"
"WR" menu:"Modelling-Host Sweep-Wall Reveal"

It may not work if you have already got WS and WR defined in your list. Also, make sure you restart Revit after amending the file. I may be wrong, but I think it only refers to it on start up.

Dpasa.
Just edit the keyboard shortcuts.txt file. SE will conflict with the default SE for Snap Endpoint so be sure to change it around.
WR & WS should work. Remember to delete the ; before "WR" eg.

; "" menu:"Modelling-Mullion"
"WS" menu:"Modelling-Host Sweep-Wall Sweep"
"WR" menu:"Modelling-Host Sweep-Wall Reveal"
; "" menu:"Modelling-Host Sweep-Roof Fascia"

I know what to do with the txt file, my problem is that I probably wrote my old 8.1 shortcut file over the 9.0 txt file so there are errors because there are probably changed in the menu. I guess I will have to re-install Revit (which I won't do until the next update).

If you created a shortcut and unknowingly a duplicate already exist when you type the letters for the shortcut but nothing seems to happen LOOK AT YOUR STATUS BAR If the hotkey is shown that means your shortcut is active but there is a duplicate, press your left or right arrow key and it will toggle to the duplicated shortcut then it's to time to edit which one would you like to retain.
