embedding a curtian wall in an in-place wall family

Can you embed a curtain wall in an in-place wall family? For some reason I can't embed it while the in-place wall is in the proper category and the curtain wall "automatic embed" is checked.

Seems like you cant. That mean that you will have to create the opening "manually" in your in-place wall
