Door Tags in Legend

I tried to tag my doors in elevation within my door legend, but ended up using the Symbol command > Door Tag (generic) > tag each door > Text over the generic number with specific door number.

Any input appreciated.

....after searching thru the archives, i see this is a wish-list item.
and "dumb tag" tips would be appreciated instead.

Well, in terms of dumb tags, just create an annotation that looks like your door tag and use a label to be able to change its number in your project. Dumb tags are easy to create, but just remember that they are, well, dumb, so you have to keep a close eye on the coordination. :)
