Calling all Revit Gurus!

I just found this thread and it comes close to solving what I am attempting to do. I currently have the square footage numbers included in my titleblock as project information, it works great, I figure my square footage from my area plans and enter it once - and it shows up on all my sheets just like I want it.

However, I'm wondering if I can input the area plan information into my titleblock by means of a label using a shared parameter. Revit is already pumping out the area information from my area plans, and can put it into a schedule for me, so is there a way to get that information to automatically show up (and update automatically) in my titleblock?

Taking this one step further, can I create a formula to use with this to calculate the square footage according to our company standards? that is, as a residential home builder, when we calculate the square footage of our second floor, we subtract two story areas (which I know the value of from my room tags). If I were to copy a plan (as we are prone to do), I could stretch the house this way and that and badda-bing, my titleblock would magically have the updated square footage without me having to do anything. Is this possible or am I pushing the envelope a bit far?
