Detail Views from acad to revit

I am having a problem with the dimensioning of the detail view where I have a cut marks through the fnd. I see on the dimstyle that there is a prefix and suffix to be able to add text but the value is not able to change? How do I get the dimension, say (5'-6") to actual right dimension of 8'-10" Pour?

There is no dimension override, you must put a pieces of text over the actually dimension. Kinda sloppy, but its the only way.
