I've modified a wall in elevation so that the parapet has arches and I'm trying to get the parapet cap to follow its profile but the cap maitains the origional square top of the wall. How do you make a profile wall sweep follow the arcing shapes of the parapet.

MIke

Thanks

You use and inplace family with your cap profile, select the sweep tool and pick the edges of your wall as the path. you can go up down and around the top if you want.

Scott,

Do you mean The modeling / Host Sweep / Wall Sweep Tool.

Project Browser > Modeling > Create > Fam. Cat. > Solid form > Solid SWeep.

Welcome to the forums Anthony.
The workaround is the same. In place sweep of the wall category is pretty much your only option unless you want to nuts with the family editor (probably not the best approach for a self confessed rookie  )
