inch mark in Custom Linetype

I am using AutoCAD 2007 light, no express tools and need to mark my lines as"2"PVC" or such. when I enter this in as text in a linetype I get " comma missing after text" error. after the second " mark in notepad AutoCAD does not expect more text. Any hints?

The quick reply gave me the ASCII decimal %%34 to use for the ". Now I would like to know where to find an ASCII decimal list?
