I sometimes like to do 3d details (d3 view aligned to detail view), but keynotes not available. Any reason for this? And why no keynotes for detail components?

Detail components work, I like the 3d idea. though, that should go on the wishlist items

I like the idea of using detail components in 3D views, too. Align them to the view, then tag 'em in 3D!

it was a "wish" statement, sorry I didn't really make that clear! It *would* be nice if we could use detail componenents in a 3D view, and then tag them as well!

Definitely a wishlist item then

I agree with the Wishlist. In the meantime, here's an idea for thought:

I just saw a real Revit Pro speak in SF. One common thread to his many challenges presented during the talk was Compound Views: meaning, if you can't get it done in just one view, why not do two (at twice the pr$ce!) So, if you have a 3D oriented to view, why not slap another 2D view on top of it showing just your annotations.

Is that crazy talk? Can you display 9.0 keynotes in a view with the model turned off?
