Is there a way in Civil3d 2007, to have a text style that plots the same size on paper (.1" .12" etc) regardless of drawing scale? In LDD we used the leroy sizes, which changed the heights when drawing scale changed, I haven't found a place to do that in Civ3d. (If they aren't leroy sizes, and we have to make new ones, that's okay, I just want to be able to size my text objects by inches

Thanx

amaser,
Welcome to the Forums!
The easiest? way to accomplish what you want is to define a "Style" for your labels and in the Style Properties, you can set the Font, Height, Color and other values and then when you want a piece of text to look a certain way, you simply apply that "Style" to it. It is a New Approach to graphic control that once you get the hang of it, makes things faster and easier to standardize. Check out the ATP courses that are offered in the Education section of the site. You can gain invaaluable knowledge from them at your own pace. Even ask questions when they come up!
