Typically you can edit a grid line, dragging an end to a point that should be in alignment with an adjacent grid line. Normally you'll find that Revit will snap and lock that grid line to the adjacent one.

When Revit doesn't behave this way you have a grid line who's origin is at the opposite end than the one you hope to align to. Revit knows which end was first (no bubble) and last (bubble) and uses that relationship to determine how to align/snap.

You can get them to snap/align again by dragging one end of the offending grid line past it's own other end (be sure to unlock the ends first). Then adjust each end so it is aligned with an adjacent grid line(s). Now the "same" ends are near each other and will align.

If you have offset a grid line using the grips and now want it straight, select the grid, right click, choose the "Reset Extents to Default" option

Hope this helps...long winded, yikes!!

Hello all

I am having gridline issues...I'm working in enlarged plans (callouts)
I want to turn off the visibility of one bubble without
turning off the other. This is working for some and not others
The usual check box is not popping up.
I know that I could change the type to have only one bubble but
I want them both to show up on the full floor plan

Any suggestions

thanks

From Help file:
You can hide the annotation line and bubble from the current view by selecting the annotation, right-clicking, and choosing Hide Annotation in View from the pop-up menu. The annotation is visible when you place the Modify tool near it and highlight it. To display the annotation again, highlight it and select it. Right-click and choose Show Annotation in View.

You should be able to control the grid bubble on a view by view basis. ie if you have the grid bubble toggled ON in the overall plan you can toggle it OFF in the callout view.

If you are not seeing grid bubble check boxes you probably have some grids in a workset and others in another workset? If you turn off visiblity of any workset that has gridlines in it, the check box option disappears. I submitted this issue to support recently myself.
