Do I have to use Vault if I want to create a project in C3D? I'm converting from LDD, and I'm wondering how the project managment works in C3D.

You do not have to use vault. C3D contains all the information within the drawing, so, LDD style projects are no longer needed.
But someone with more Vault experience will need to describe how the data can be seperated in Vault. I have not been show a effective way to use vault, so we dont mess with it.

Hello,
That is true, you do not have to use vault. Now if you are looking for the same type of file structure as LDT it is going to be a bit different. I have listed quite a few links explaining Vault.
Happy reading!

There have been some more Vault articles posted on the Danny Count's blog.
