If you have the enhanced editor option selected (the bottom of Options page (http://forums.augi.com/profile.php?do=editoptions)in your Control Panel (http://forums.augi.com/usercp.php?)) you should see a little white smiley face next to your text formatting options, with a dropdown containing the smilies... but, once you've been around awhile, you start to learn some of the codes like : and ) make a :) and : razz : makes :razz:

and, most importantly, ":" and "beer" and ":" makes :beer:
