Half Size Set and text

I'm trying to print out at half size, and everything looks good, except for the text. It seems as though the "thickness" of the text (when it prints) is still full scale, while everything else is half size. Anybody have this issue??

what kind of font are you using? I think that ture type fonts are not affected by line wieghts so you could have arial font with 10 line wieght, but it would look no thicker than at 1. the only way to adjust would be to have bold or not bold. That being said, I use an arial font, but it seems to come out ok on 50%.

I'm using Swiss 721 BT at 3/32" height. I think you're onto something with the truetype fonts... I'll do a test with other fonts.
