If I have an assembly composed of multiple parts, I want to make a hole (or any figure removed) through all parts and all holes should be coincieded, how can I accomplish this? Thanks .

Hi,
I have to do this quite often. What seems to work the best for me is to pick one of the parts in the assembly and add the holes or whatever to it. (for example i always pick the part that is on the bottom of the assembly) Since i'm doing it in the assembly i turn off all parts that will not be affected. I make the holes on the bottom part. then i activate the next part they will be on and make sketch, use project geometry tool and select the holes / features i want to be transferred. make the holes or whatever on it then activate the third part and do the same thing. I just keep going down the line for all parts that need the feature. This way is adaptive too. so if the base one changes they will all change accordingly.
Hope this is of help for you.

In an assembly you can sketch on a plane and add a point, hole, center.
After exiting sketch mode you can use the hole tool to cut through all objects at once.
I played with this a little, and it seems as though it does not actually add the hole to each part. It is just represented in the assembly.
Hope that helps!
