Hi,
It's been a while since I've been here, and I see there are a lot of changes in the forum with the continuing releases of autocad. Hope I'm asking my question in the right place...

We recently purchased a true type font to enable us to re-create un-pixelated versions of our company logo on our cover sheet, title block, letterheads, etc. We're running 2006. we can't figure out how to get autocad to recognize the font. It's perplexing because the autocad Mtext editor sees and renders all the fonts we have on our system except for the new one.

Any guidance?

Thanks in advance,

Rob duPrey

First guess: make sure it is installed as a Windows font also.

I know this is an old thread but I was looking for a solution to this problem and ran across a better one. Make sure AutoCad is shut down. Go to the C:\Windows\Fonts directory. If the .ttf file isn't there, copy it to this directory. Double click on the .ttf font you want to be able to use in AutoCad. This will make it available next time you open AutoCad.
