Most of the network liscensed programs we have here 'timeout' after an hour without use... is there anyway we can get AutoCAD to do that? I just looked it up and i have held an active liscense since 8JUL06 at 8am (and have restarted my computer every day)

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance

Hi

Plus, the following might help...

ID: TS67304 - License Time-out Feature (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?siteID=123112&id=3017271&linkID=2475323)

ID: TS83137 - Network licenses are released (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?siteID=123112&id=5549171&linkID=2475323)

Have a good one, Mike

Create a text file named ADSKFLEX.OPT and save it to the directory containing the license file on the LM.

In this file, put this line:

TIMEOUTALL 5400

(where 5400 is the number of seconds of inactivity at which the license can be reclaimed)

Restart the LM and you are done.

Hi

Plus, the following might be of some interest...

ID: TS1055247 - Controlling network license access using an options file (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?siteID=123112&id=7459915&linkID=2475323)
