Existing & New Wall Issues

We have interior elevations in a project that's partly existing and partly new. The problem is that a line shows up between new and existing walls (probably because they are different wall types). I know we can use the linework tool, but that's a pain considering how big this project is. Revit should just be able to merge two walls in elevation and section regardless of their wall type as long as the wall type is the same thickness.

Use join geometry command on the walls that are in different phases. This will remove the joint line between phases in elevation.

Thanks. We figured out it was the wall type not the wall phases that was causing the problem.
