It seems that roofs below 5degree pitch cannot have a "Two cut square" edge to them.
We do quite low pitch roofs quite often, and can fudge it for sections, but have to draft additional linework for detailing. Is this a bug, is there a reason for this, or have I missed something (all quite possible).
Also - instead of "extending to core" when selecting walls for plan based roofs, I would find extending to "whatever I like" a lot more useful for roofs. I would prefer to set out a roof pitch about a structural grid, and then control soffit extensions from there.
As it is, with different wall construction either side of a gable roof, and different soffit widths, it becomes incredibly difficult to set up some sort of control that can match adjacent roofs, without having to do multiple "Roof by extrusions".
Thoughts / help / commitment to improve roof tools anyone . . .
