Any known reason why tag all not tagged doesn't work for room tags?

Hang on, am I missing something obvious here. Workflow is ~ drawn plan at scale 1:250 ~ create floorplan callout for building wings at scale 1:100 ~ go to drafting tab select tag all not tagged and tag all doors, windows in view with a few clicks ~ bang my head against the wall trying to find option for tagging all rooms in view.
I'm having to click on the room tag and tag each and every room one by one. This seems very un-revitlike to me. Is it a known limitation as rooms are new to this release or am I being dumb lol.
As an aside it would be great when creating plan type callouts if there was a checkbox available to 'create with detailing' or even better a optional window dialog with checkboxes next to various tag types, detail lines etc.
