View Full Version : Wall Schedule
I am trying to use a wall schedule to determine stucco quantities. However, I have found that Revit 9 does not compute the areas correctly. Say I have a 20 lf wall that is 14' high. This should result in 31.11 SY of Stucco (Length*Height)/9. However I can see that revit does not have the correct heights on the walls. For instance, one of the 14' high walls is listed as being 11' 4 1/2" high.
How can you use the schedule to determine quantities?
Thanks

Are you using a standard wall schedule or a material takeoff schedule?
You should really use the material takeoff because it takes the wall top and bottom offset into account. The wall schedule schedules the height and the offsets separately and they will need to be scheduled and added together then multiplied by the length.
Try the material takeoff, it will give you quantities for all the materials in your wall. Note it does not account for corners where two walls are joined very well. The outside and inside materials will have similar quantities.
