Hidden Object shows up on plots

I would like to hide an obect so it doesn't plot. I am using the Hide/Isolate command to hide an object in a drawing, but it still shows up in the plot preview. Shouldn't it remain hidden?

Hidden objects plot - the Hide/Isolate functionality is simply a temporary working visualization tool. You'll have to turn the elements off via Visibility/Graphics if you don't want them to plot.
